What do people say about Coronado, Panama?
Coronado is, without a doubt, one of the best beach communities in Panama. What attracts me most is the relaxed lifestyle, the friendly people, and how easy it is to have everything you need nearby — supermarkets, restaurants, and healthcare without having to go too far. What I value most is that combination of living by the ocean without sacrificing convenience. Being just 1 to 1.5 hours from the city makes everything very manageable — you can enjoy the peace and quiet without feeling isolated. The community is very open and social. There's a pretty active social scene, which makes it easy to meet people and build friendships, especially if you're a foreigner or just arrived. That said, I'll be honest: the heat and humidity can be intense, public transportation is almost nonexistent, and you definitely need a car to get around comfortably. But overall, for me Coronado is an excellent choice if you're looking to live at the beach with solid infrastructure and an already established international community.
