How We Work Together
Our team is small on purpose. Alexander Barrelier founded the practice and works as an advisor himself; Nora Hesse advises German-speaking clients from Stuttgart; Gustavo Dutari and Rodrigo Eisenmann support the team from Panama City and the Pacific coast respectively. Rather than dividing clients by transaction size, we divide by where the property is and which language the conversation works best in, and everyone sees what the others are working on.
For buyers
Most people who write to us are not yet ready to buy, and that is the right time to start. The first conversations are about narrowing: which parts of the city or coast actually suit how you plan to live, which building types age well, and which compromises you are willing to make. When it comes to a specific property, we gather what can be documented and tell you plainly what cannot. Legal review belongs with your attorney; we make sure the questions reach them early rather than at signature.
For sellers
Owners get a candid read before anything is published — on documentation, condition, presentation and positioning. From there we handle preparation, marketing, screening of enquiries, accompanied viewings and the coordination that a closing requires. Where we cannot promise an outcome, we say so.
For landlords and tenants
Rentals move faster than sales and reward preparation just as much. Landlords receive help with presenting the property, agreeing terms and vetting who takes possession of it. Tenants get honest answers about buildings, house rules, what is included and what is not, and what daily life in a given area is really like — including the parts that never appear in a listing.
Languages and reach
The practice works in English, Spanish and German, which is why our listings and guides exist in all three. Nora's presence in Germany means European clients can speak to someone in their own time zone and language before travelling; the Panama-based members handle everything that has to happen on the ground, from access to a building to a meeting with an administration.
Continuity
Because the team is small, you are not handed from one person to the next as a file progresses. Whoever you start with stays involved, and the rest of the team knows enough about your situation to answer when that person is showing a property or on a flight.
